Hi! I am Charity!

I was born and raised in beautiful Star Valley, Wyoming.  After graduating from BYU-Idaho with a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education, I moved to Utah and spent 5 great years teaching junior high and high school orchestra for Weber School District.  Leaving teaching public school orchestra was a difficult decision but it allowed me to focus on teaching privately. 

I play double bass for Picks 'n Stix, New American Philharmonic, Skyward Symphony and for the Annual Messiah Sing Along with the Wasatch Choral.  I have also played for Weber School District High School District Choir Festival, State Choir Festival, Syracuse Summer Musical, Roy High School's Fall Musical and Chamber Choir Spring Musical. 

I am active in my church choir and will often assist with the music at church.  When I am not playing bass, piano, teaching or doing anything musical, I enjoys reading, sewing, watching movies, biking, motorbiking, snowmobiling and spending time with my husband and family.
